Catch the Moment 366 – Week 8

050 | Feb 19, Fri – Homer’s birthday party! Oh my goodness. I had plans to start inside first, then outdoors at a park. But the indoor space I’d chosen was full when we arrived, and outside, it was raining. But if Pacific Northwest-ers let the rain stop them, we’d never have any fun. So here’s a few rainy birthday party photos!

051 | Feb 20, Sat – The next day was Homer’s buddy’s birthday party in Seattle. Homer was happy to be outside, eating popcorn in front of the EMP museum, until a seagull took notice. “Mommy, we gotta go inside!”

We also got some chocolate covered strawberries on a kabob, and enjoyed them in front of the Space Needle.

053 | Feb 22, Mon – Sparky the class mascot came home with us tonight, along with his suitcase of clothes and accessories, and Homer dressed him up like this. “He’s a mermaid, a construction worker, and a haircut person, all at once!”

054 | Feb 23, Tues – Sleepy Homer cuddling his dinosaur, Flat. I’m just realizing the number of sleeping Homer pics I’ve taken recently. It’s in part due to his sheer adorableness, and partly because I suddenly remember late at night that I need a photo for the day! And also partly due to him being still finally, so much easier to photograph, hehe!

055 | Feb 24, Wed – I’m art parent this month, and this was today’s art project at preschool! The letter U: A U-toss! I’m so glad the kids enjoyed them!

056 | Feb 25, Thurs – Homer REALLY wanted to ride on the swings, and only the little kid ones were still open. He still fits!
