Catch the Moment 2018 – Week 33

I love when summer can be slow and lazy, at least a bit, and that’s kind of how this week went. It was pretty laid back this week, so here’s a glimpse of our pretty regular, ordinary life!

Mon, Aug 13 ~ So I went to the doctor and as suspected, I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand. It’s super annoying. And painful! Wrist brace and anti inflammatories for a few weeks and then we’ll see if I need to see the hand specialist people after that.

Catch the Moment 2018 – Week 32

This week, Joe went back to work, and Homer and I went back to lazing about at home. Except not really, because we had doctor’s appointments and parties to attend, and ice cream to go out and buy, so it was a mildly busy week for us. Take a look ~

Mon, Aug 6 ~ Monday was eye appointments for both Homer and me. This was Homer getting an Optimap photo taken, which is a large detailed photo of the eye. I thought it looked cool, so I took a photo of him and his giant eye next to him. That is not the final photo, btw, just a guide to make sure his eye is in the right spot! It was pretty fascinating.

2018 Catch the Moment 365 – Week 2

Hello! It’s a new week, with new photos! The theme this week for the Catch the Moment group is Goals/Wish for the Year, and for me, that’s my Jan 11 photo. I want to get much more fit than I currently am, and am paving the way for that now.

008 | Mon, Jan 8 ~ Homer painted a still life of a bowl of apples and oranges in school. His art makes me so darn happy! I love displaying it on the walls. This one is hanging above my desk right now.

Catch the Moment 366 – Week 36

I forgot TWO days this week! Bah! Like I said, this time of year is weirdly hard for me to maintain this project. Maybe that’s not weird. Who knows! But I’m glad to be staying kind of mostly caught up. 🙂 On to the photos!

246 | Sept 2, Fri – Tina helped me by taking Homer in the morning, so I took the boys for the afternoon! We got Happy Meals at McDonald’s and these two were excited about their Talking Tom toys. I thought Talking Tom was still just a goofy app. I didn’t realize it had blown up in popularity and is now a cartoon and has its own toys at McDonald’s and stuff! Craziness. They’re really annoying, as you’d imagine (the toys, not the boys! ha!), but thank god there is an off switch on their backs. Silent Tom is way more appealing than Talking Tom, if you ask me.

225 | Aug 12, Fri – More cat sitting. Look at this cute cat. Don’t be deceived, she is one of those wacky cats who is like “yay pet me!” and then two seconds later bites you! She’s still sweet, though, just gotta stay on your toes!
