Catch the Moment 2018 ~ Week 47

Mon, Nov 19 ~ I don’t think it’s possible to describe how excited I was to get a time slot for the red panda cub Animal Watch at the zoo! I got to spend two hours just watching these two baby girls and their mama (Zeya, Ila, and Hazel) explore their new home. They had a blast looking around at everything and exploring, and I had a blast watching them. So cool! Red pandas make my heart so happy!

Luckily, we had our family for a few more days, and got to spend most of the week with them. Here are a bunch of photos from our outings and fun together!

Mon, Aug 27 ~ Monday, we decided to go bowling! It was a lot of fun. Homer had a great time and even got a strike!

Allister really loved it, too. He seemed so excited to carry the bowling balls, and after he threw one, he’d go back to the ball return and excitedly announce which one he would choose next. “Now, the red one!”

We played a full game, ate some pizza, and played in the arcade, too. It was a great day!

Catch the Moment 2018 – Week 30

Mon, July 23 ~ Monday was water park day! After visiting with Mama T in the morning, we headed on over. At first I just thought we were heading to a little splash pad / spray park, but once we got there, I realized it was a full-on water park and I hadn’t even brought my swimsuit. So I ran to Target and got a new one that I really love! Then I was able to get into the 4 ft wading pool with Homer, and ride the kiddie water slides, and it was a ton of fun. I loved snapping some shots of the kids. Here’s one of Winnie!

Summer Vacation is in full swing, and apparently my brain is in full vacation mode, because I somehow missed TWO days this week! I have no idea how that happened. Actually, I was feeling a little down and out, under the weather, and just overall crappy on the days I missed photos, so I guess I do know how that happened. Anyway, this week is mostly portraits and plants, check it out ~

Mon, June 25 ~ Homer and I had a really fun day! We went to Homegrown for our favorite spicy egg and avocado sandwiches, then Molly Moon’s for ice cream, then Half Price Books. It was awesome!
