Catch the Moment 2018 ~ Week 38

Oh my GRAVY, I fell far behind in this project. You know what, though? I took the photos! I just didn’t post them weekly. I felt bad about falling off track, because it’s just so hard with all the holidays and hustle and bustle of Fall. But then I realized I could actually just go ahead and post up the photos! So what the hell. I’m going to finish off this project for the year, so help me! Hehe! So, here we go, starting at the tail end of September. Let’s do this!

Mon, Sept 17 ~ Homer is so excited about the idea of driving. He is so adorable! Someday, I’ll take a photo like this when he’s 16 and stick them side by side. You know how I love those photo comparisons!!

Catch the Moment 2018 – Week 24

This was the week of double photos! I got a bit off track when choosing photos, and long story short, I ended up with more photos than usual. Bonus photos, if you will! Anyway, it was a good week, for the most part. Summer has arrived! It’s getting warmer and sunnier, and there are a mere four days of school left for Homer. Exciting! And now for the photos ~

Mon, June 11 ~ This little guy has been enjoying car rides way more than he used to! It’s so cute how amped up he gets, often giving many glances over to the car as I take him on walks each day. Ashton walks along, then looks at the car, then at me, as if to say, “Are we going??” He was happy the answer was yes on Monday when I brought him with us to go pick up Joe from work. They looked so cute together when Ashton just jumped into Homer’s lap!

Catch the Moment 2018 – Week 18

This turned out to be a rather animal-focused week! It was pretty awesome. I think the days that weren’t centered around animals were pretty creative days, so that was cool, too. Take a look ~

Mon, April 30 ~ This is my bullet journal. After forgetting about it for basically all of April, I decided to get back on the horse, and get ready for May. If you don’t know about bullet journaling yet, you can learn more here. You can also ask me questions in the comments!

2018 Catch the Moment – Week 9

We had a pretty nice week! Not a ton going on, except for Comic Con, which I’m happy we got to without too much trouble (despite heinous traffic). We walked around and had a good time seeing lots of cosplay outfits, toys, t-shirts, etc. It would’ve been fun to do more shopping or see some of my favorite writers and actors, but that’s ok – just gotta plan better for next year! It’s been pretty cold, too, but just starting to get slightly warmer. I’m really excited for Spring time!

All right, without further ado, week 9’s photos ~~

057 | Mon, Feb 26 ~ The sun came out! And there was still snow on the ground on Monday; it’s so crazy to think how recently we still had snow!!

2018 Catch the Moment 365 – Week 1

Happy new year, everyone! I hope 2018 is already off to a good start for you and your families! I decided to come back and do another 365 Project this year. It was good to take a break for a while, and now I’m ready to take on this photo challenge of posting a photo a day for a year. Let’s dive right in!

001 | Monday, Jan 1 ~ This is the first photo I took in 2018! We took it easy and stayed home this year, watched the New Year’s Eve countdown in Times Square on TV, then at actual midnight, Homer and I were all snuggled in his bed for the story portion of his bedtime routine. I paused mid-reading The Hobbit to Homer to wish him a happy new year and kiss his soft cheek before he fell fast asleep! Then I left his room, kissed Joe and wished him a happy new year, and took Ashton out for his last potty break of the night. I was surprised by the beautiful full moon! I didn’t even realize it was going to be a full moon. So of course I took a full moon / new year selfie, because why the heck not, right? Maybe I’ll end the year with a selfie, too!
