Catch the Moment – Week 20

134 | May 13, Fri – Friday the 13th! 😀 Little known fact – Friday the 13th is only seen as unlucky or evil because Friday was known as the Day of the Goddess and there are 13 full moons in a year. When people decided pagan people who celebrated the full moon and used herbs and incense in ritual etc were scary, they demonized everything about them, and told their cohorts that pagan people were evil devil worshipers. When really they just wanted to dance under a full moon together and celebrate life. So, Friday the 13th is actually a beautiful sacred earth-moon-and-goddess celebrating kind of day! My only “bad luck” (not really) was forgetting to take more than one picture, and having that one picture be pretty dark and unimpressive. Anyway, here’s a look at my cute dog, hehe!

Catch the Moment – Week 17

I got behind once more, but here we go. Catch up time!

113 | April 22, Fri – Homer and his pal, C., having a play date at McDonald’s, where they first met. Now they’re in preschool together, and are good buddies. They’re super cute together. Homer tried to show off in front of him, uttering, “Hey! Let’s annoy my mom!” moments after this was taken. Smh.

050 | Feb 19, Fri – Homer’s birthday party! Oh my goodness. I had plans to start inside first, then outdoors at a park. But the indoor space I’d chosen was full when we arrived, and outside, it was raining. But if Pacific Northwest-ers let the rain stop them, we’d never have any fun. So here’s a few rainy birthday party photos!

Catch the Moment 366 – Week 6

036 | Feb 5, Fri – First visit to the EMP museum in Seattle! It was awesome. Homer and his buddy were excited to make themselves Mario characters, and had a great time exploring all the various exhibits from fantasy map making to pretending to fly a space ship. Awesome day! AND, we got to take advantage of the kids 4 and under being free, which was only going to be the case for a few more days!!
